Welcome to CA-2J

This chapter has a long tradition of more meetings on the road, rather than restaurants. We pride ourselves as being the “riding-est” GWRRA group in the state, thanks to our Tour Director, Barry Bullock. We try to provide a satisfying experience for each chapter member, regardless of riding style or experience. Most weekends, especially in “riding season,” you’ll find us up and about exploring new terrain, or revisiting old favorites. Some rides are leisurely, some more challenging; but they’re always fun.

CA-2J is not highfalutin’. We don’t have big plans or grandiose designs. The chapter is not always into your pocket. When there is an opportunity for community service, we’re there. Otherwise, we’re content to associate for “Fun, Safety, and Knowledge (GWRRA motto).

Like GWRRA, CA-2J is about “family;” not just a boys’ club. Aylesa and Susie have many years of riding experience on the road. Rosa, Marce, and Cec can tell you about the fine art of riding “two up.” And there are many riding couples in our group, the oldest (by far) being Mike and Deb Gregory.

Come meet us at Home Town Buffet (2050 Diamond Way, Concord) the second Saturday morning of any month. Doors open at 8:00, gathering starts at 8:30. Our Assistant Chapter Director, Alex Ageev will help you feel amongst friends. Perhaps they’ll sell you the winning 50/50 ticket!

But, whenever you decide to visit for breakfast, come ready to ride.
